  • Day 02: Hanoi's Day (B, L, D)

    Start your morning by paying your respects at the John McCain Monument, located on the banks of Truc Bach Lake.     The morning with a breakfast at your Hanoi hotel. By 9:30 AM, we'll embark on a scenic journey towards the awe-inspiring Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
    As we approach the emerald waters of Halong Bay, prepare to be greeted aboard your chosen cruise. A delectable lunch will be served as you set sail, allowing you to savor Vietnamese cuisine while marveling at the majestic limestone formations rising from the bay.
    You might descend into the mysterious Sung Sot Grotto, a breathtaking cave adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. By 11:30 AM, we will arrive at the harbor, where your driver will be waiting to whisk you back to Hanoi.

    Upon arrival in Hanoi, you'll be transferred directly to Noi Bai International Airport for your flight to Dong Hoi. After landing at Dong Hoi Airport, you'll be transferred to your comfortable hotel in Dong Hoi. Check in, freshen up, and relax for the evening. Overnight in Dong Hoi.

    Your friendly guide picks you up at your hotel in the evening. Evening is the best time take a two-story boat cruise around the Saigon River, passing by the city's landmarks at night. Afterward, we will enjoy the famous Pho dish.

    It is an amazing underground network that was dug by Vietcong soldiers throughout the war is a must-see historical destination in Southern Vietnam. Here, you can learn about the complex and innovative lives of the tunnel residents during Vietnam War and try your hand at the shooting range with an AK-47.

    Our guide will lead you through the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, dug by resourceful guerrilla fighters to provide communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters during numerous conflicts.
